Welcome to Jeff Warren's research group at Simon Fraser University.

Electrochemistry? Bioinorganic Chemistry?
Our lab has a wide range of interests! See below or the RESEARCH page for more information.

Small Molecule Electrocatalysis

With hopeful industrial applications, research into electrochemical catalysts drive possible solutions to the current climate crisis. Ongoing electrochemistry work ranges from investigation of ligand design on selectivity and kinetics of catalysts to bimetallic porphyrin systems.

Electron Flow in Protein Structures

The microenvironments of proteins are rich with research possibilities. Ongoing bioinorganic chemistry work ranges from detailed study of secondary-coordination sphere interactions to long-range electron transfer within modified bacterial proteins.
